See you in Paris
Seeing the Eiffel Tower in real life surpassed our wish list during our family trip to Paris. The structure is one of the most important monuments of the city, and also offers excellent views, including the Eiffel Tower. We had the perfect plan to reveal Paris to ourselves with a big bang! – Unfortunately, at the last minute, our plan changed due to flight delays and some other adventures that are part of the trip.
We will have to return at another time to climb to the top of the Arc de Triomphe and contemplate the Eiffel Tower from its terrace. On the positive side, during our five-day stay in Paris, we found many other places that offered magnificent and unforgettable views of the Eiffel Tower, some from afar and others very close to it.
places to get a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower
Place du Trocadro – Trocadero is the section of Paris located directly across the river from the Eiffel Tower. Many argue that the Place du Trocadero, a large square in the heart of the area, is absolutely the best place to see the tower or to take a perfect selfie in the background. As soon as you reach the top of the stairs to exit the subway station, you will be greeted with a magnificent view that will not leave anyone indifferent. Then you can walk south towards the Seine River and cross the Pont dlna bridge to reach the Eiffel Tower.
A cruise on the river Seine: tourist cruises on the Seine river are a popular tourist activity in Paris and a pleasant and relaxed way to get an introductory view of some of the most popular attractions of the city such as the Louvre, the Musée DOrsay, Notre Dame as well as the tower Eiffel Most tours operate in a loop and take a turn just after the Eiffel Tower, so you will have ample opportunity to admire and take many photos, regardless of which company you choose or where you board.
Pont de la Concorde or any other nearby bridge – Several bridges that cross the Seine, either east or west of the Eiffel Tower, offer beautiful views of the river and the Eiffel Tower on its left side. We especially liked the view from the Pont de la Concorde because it also includes the Alexandre III bridge with its famous golden bronze winged horses.
Mars Fields: One of the most classic views of the Eiffel Tower is from the Mars Fields, the green area on the south side of the tower, facing the Seine River.
